About
Linda Arabi
Director and Senior Speech Pathologist
Hello! I’m Linda – speechie, mum, wife, coffee lover, and passionate advocate for accessible communication. With over eight years of experience in the disability sector, I have supported children, teenagers, and young adults both as a therapist and as an NDIS planner. This blend of clinical and planning experience gives me a broad perspective on how to best support each person and their wider network.
Across my career, I’ve worked with clients to develop a wide range of communication skills – from building expressive and receptive language, to improving speech clarity, social communication, early language, and interaction skills.
Communication is never one-size-fits-all. For some people, spoken language is most effective; for others, visual supports or a mix of both open the door to connection. My focus is on finding the right approach for each individual, with a particular passion for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).
I know how challenging it can be to source practical, durable, and personalised AAC tools. As a speechie, I often created visuals from scratch when existing resources fell short. As an NDIS planner, I saw first-hand how difficult it was to recommend accessible, ready-made solutions. Durability was another hurdle – even laminated visuals often wore out quickly. These challenges inspired me to create AAChieve – a service that combines speech pathology expertise with access to customised, long-lasting visual communication tools.
At the heart of my work is a belief in communication autonomy – the ability to say what you want, when you want, to whomever you want. Whether you’re building the foundations of language, refining speech and interaction skills, or exploring complex communication systems, I’m here to support you with empathy, evidence-based strategies, and a personalised approach.
I look forward to walking alongside you – wherever you are on your communication journey.
